World Mental Health Day: A Step Towards Mental Wellbeing World Mental Health Day, observed on October 10, is an opportunity to promote the importance of mental health and raise awareness about the issue. This year, students from Sankalp Mahavidyalaya participated in a drama and poster competition organized by the District Hospital. The students showcased impressive performances in the drama competition, presenting plays on various mental health-related topics such as stress management, suicide prevention, and mental wellbeing. Their acting, dialogue delivery, and direction were commendable. The students also actively participated in the poster competition, creating attractive posters on mental health-related topics. At the end of the competition, the students secured first place in the poster competition and third place in the drama competition, bringing laurels to the college. Additionally, the college teachers won the first prize in the debate competition. All participants were felicitated with mementos by the District Hospital. The main objective of this event was to promote the importance of mental health and raise awareness about the issue. Through this event, the students made an effort to sensitize people towards mental health. This event was a step towards promoting mental wellbeing and encouraging people to prioritize their mental health. The students' participation and enthusiasm were commendable, and their efforts will surely contribute to creating a more aware and sensitive community.
