Krishi Vigyaan Kendra Shahdol Educational Visit to Science Students
All the students and students of Science Department of Sankalp Mahavidyalaya Anuppur were given an educational tour of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Shahdol. The Head of the Department of Science played the main role of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in making this system more useful in Mushroom Culture and Research Center and in increasing its interest among the students. The scientist of Krishi Vigyan Kendra apprised him of all the modern techniques of this center about farming. All the students were surprised to see about 50 types of medicinal plants, black rice, irrigation with micro-irrigation, thornless water chestnut, Azolla cultivation for organic manure, mushroom cultivation etc. at this centre. Pali House in which the method of cultivation was also shown in 5 degree lower temperature than normal. The educational tour program organized by the college plays an important role in the intellectual development of the students.
